About Dr. Taylor

A Calgary native, Dr. Taylor has roots in Longview but has also lived in many other parts of the world. Prior to beginning her chiropractic education, she professionally competed and trained show jumping horses south of Calgary. Horses were her introduction to chiropractic care; once she witnessed the performance results the equine athletes had she sought her own chiropractic care to keep her in the saddle.

She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at school, Dr. Taylor also participated in several chiropractic organizations to acquire an education beyond the core curriculum.

Dr. Taylor is an avid outdoors person and an (on hiatus) equestrian. Her love of animals and nature means she prefers to spend her free time on the farm, at horse shows, and hiking. If you see her out on the trails, at an equestrian event, gym, or yoga studio, please stop her and say hello!

Education

Prior to joining ABHC, Dr. Taylor interned in a Veteran’s hospital in the Tennessee Valley. She worked with a team of chiropractors, physical therapists, and acupuncturists in a collaborative care environment. This opportunity also allowed her to do rotations in the Neurosurgery department and observe spinal surgeries and shadow consultations.

Dr. Taylor treasures connecting with her patients and helping them to reach their functional goals. Her care is tailored to fit each patient’s unique lifestyle and goals. She takes a unique approach to treatment, coupling self-care with her manual therapy to help give you the tools to get out of pain, and stay out of pain as quickly as possible.

Dr. Taylor is also a Complete Concussion Management Practitioner, certified in the diagnosis and management of concussions.  She treats the majority of our clinic’s pediatric sport concussions.
