Sydney Perlinger
Athletic Therapist
Sydney provides individualized athletic therapy care for anyone who wants to move, perform, and feel better in their body, active individuals, and athletes.
Her approach begins with a detailed injury assessment, a clear explanation of what may be contributing to the problem, and a treatment plan developed collaboratively with each patient. Sydney believes rehabilitation should be specific to the individual, not simply based on an injury label or a standard list of exercises.
Her primary goal is to help patients improve their athletic performance while building the strength, confidence, and physical capacity needed to return to the activities that matter most to you.
Sydney works with acute injuries, persistent concerns, post-injury rehabilitation, injury prevention, and return-to-sport preparation. She welcomes patients from all activity levels, including competitive athletes, recreational athletes, active adults, and individuals whose work places and lifestyle place significant physical demands on their bodies.
About Sydney
Sydney grew up on a beef cattle farm, where sport, hard work, and rural life shaped much of who she is. She later became a varsity soccer player and goalkeeper, an experience that gave her a firsthand understanding of the demands of competitive sport, the frustration of injury, and the importance of feeling confident when returning to activity.
Sydney especially enjoys supporting rural athletes and people whose sport, work, and lifestyle place unique demands on their bodies. Her background has naturally drawn her toward working with athletes in hockey, soccer, figure skating, rodeo, and bull riding but she enjoys a relationship with all patient types.
Outside the clinic, Sydney enjoys staying active, spending time around rodeo and western sport, being creative and finding new ways to make rehabilitation practical and engaging. She brings an approachable, energetic personality to her work and wants every patient to feel comfortable asking questions, understanding their care, and being involved in the process.
Special Focus
Sydney’s skill set includes detailed musculoskeletal assessment, hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise, athletic taping, progressive strength and conditioning, injury prevention, and return-to-sport planning.
Sydney is trained to support patients through the full injury process. From the moment an injury occurs as a field side first responder, to the point where they are physically and mentally prepared to return to sport, work, or an active lifestyle.
She works with both sudden and persistent musculoskeletal injuries, including concerns involving the:
- Hips and groin
- Knees and ankles
- Shoulders
- Elbow, Wrist, and Hands
- Neck and back
- Muscles, joints, and connective tissues
Her background in both clinical and high-pressure sporting environments allows her to recognize not only what hurts, but what the patient’s body must be able to do next.
She has a particular interest in:
- Sport-specific injury rehabilitation
- Return-to-sport testing and progression
- Lower-body strength and movement development
- Hockey, soccer, skating, rodeo, and bull-riding athletes
- Injury prevention and physical preparation
- Supporting rural athletes and physically demanding workers
Sydney’s primary focus is bridging the gap between traditional rehabilitation and real-world performance.
